ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria and responsible investment principles are part of the DNA of Azimut Investments, which has always pursued the objectives of generating value for its customers, promoting sustainable economic development through its investment choices, and maximizing the positive impact on the community of its stakeholders.

As Azimut Investments, we are aware that through our investment activity we can positively influence the world in which we live and that we will leave to our posterity.

For this reason, Azimut Investments is increasingly committed to sustainable finance, integrating ESG factors into the investment process of all its products, alongside the traditional criteria of analysis and evaluation.

This means that once the financially efficient portfolio has been determined, an optimization is made to improve the overall ESG score of the portfolio, mainly by excluding and/or reducing positions with the lowest ESG scores, and replacing them with companies having higher ESG scores, ideally "best in class", i.e. leading companies in sustainable development.

Through this process, management teams build portfolios that are not only financially efficient, but also sustainable.

For each fund, Azimut Investments calculates an internal ESG score as a weighted average of the scores of the financial instruments in the portfolio.

The Azimut Sustainable product range includes products promoting environmental and social characteristics within the meaning of Article 8 of SFDR with an internal ESG rating of BBB or higher. Azimut Investments is fully transparent on ESG disclosures.

As a signatory to the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment), the Azimut Group is committed to ensuring full disclosure of the effectiveness of its work and therefore publishes the level of integration of ESG factors for all its investment strategies.
